Workshops & Education
The V.O.I.C.E Programme
The V.O.I.C.E Programme (Voicing Our Intellect Creatively Expressing) is an empowering initiative by Da Poetry Jam designed to inspire young people to discover their voice, embrace their individuality and express themselves through the power of spoken word poetry, storytelling and creative expression. Through engaging workshops, interactive activities and performance opportunities, the programme encourages young people to explore their thoughts, emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. By developing confidence, communication skills, creativity and self-belief, V.O.I.C.E aims to empower the next generation to recognise the value of their words, celebrate their unique perspectives and understand that every voice deserves to be heard.
What We Offer
Programmes designed for every setting and every voice
Schools & Colleges
In-curriculum and enrichment sessions for secondary schools and colleges. We work with English departments, PSHE leads and pastoral teams to deliver sessions that meet curriculum goals while genuinely inspiring students. Suitable for all year groups.
Half-day, full-day and multi-session programmes available
Youth Clubs & Community Groups
Creative workshops for young people outside the classroom — in youth clubs, community centres, pupil referral units and alternative provision settings. We meet young people where they are and create a space where every voice matters.

Events & Festival Workshops
One-off workshop experiences for festivals, arts events, literary festivals and community celebrations. We bring energy, expertise and a proven ability to engage diverse audiences of all ages.

Bespoke Programmes
Every organisation is different. If your needs do not fit neatly into one of the above, we will work with you to design something that does. Get in touch and tell us what you are trying to achieve.
Tailored to your goals, audience and budget
For many students this was the first time they had done something like this and you could see the confidence grow in many of them. Students could relate to Terrell and he made students feel comfortable to come out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves. I believe such programmes and sessions are vital to all schools — this has empowered many of our Year 10 students and some are wanting to pursue this further.

In Their Own Words
“The poetry was very entertaining. It was productive and new to me. I thought poetry was for old people and ancient. This opened my eyes to new ideas and I hope to carry on reading more new and young poets.”
“It was great. We carried on into the playground and decided to mix our poems with some music. I didn't realise poetry could be so fun. I hope he comes back again to help us write.”
